Radio telemetry is a vital tool for tracking wildlife, allowing researchers to follow the movements of animals in their natural habitats. Tiny transmitters are fitted to an animal, which emit radio signals picked up by handheld antennas and receivers.
By following the signal strength and direction, researchers can locate individuals, study their home ranges and monitor behaviours such as feeding, nesting and dispersal.
At Fauna Resources, our commitment to wildlife conservation goes beyond just out day-to-day operations.
